Are Neckties Worth the Fuss?

We've all been there, it's a hot summer day, and you're sweltering in the heat, you loosen the tie and unbutton your collar, because you need to feel a little freer. This incident could have left wondering why on earth you have to wear a tie for first place. Are ties really worth all the fuss?

Well, to put it quite simply - yes. You just think that the cravat was clogged corporate accessories, but you'd be surprised how positive people to see when wearing one. If you're scheduled to attend an important meeting of walking into a boardroom without a tie and open collar, people might jump to wrong conclusions. They might think you're disorganized, messy and does not care about their appearance.

Flip the situation around and imagine you are walking in the boardroom, this time you're wearing a smartly pressed shirt and tie and cufflinks to wear your sleeves. image you project to people means a lot, but if you're dressed for success do not make a difference. Of course we are always told to never judge a book by its cover, but on several occasions, you must be willing to make a great first impression.

It might not be enough to wear a tie, you must pay great attention to detail to show that you care about your appearance. Be careful when picking out a tie and be sure to avoid any news links. Reserve them for when you are with friends and family that you know well. You'll need to decide on the thickness of your tie, it is best not to go to extremes, so steer clear of Kipper ties or skinny, unless you're pretty sure you can carry it off. Try to avoid wearing a tie patterned with a patterned shirt, unless you really are fashion savvy and know how to mix and match well. Try to figure out what color palette to suit your skin tone and stick to them. Do not buy brightly colored ties unless you're sure you'll wear them and they suit you.

If you want your outfit even more impressive try investing in smart style French cuff shirts and a pair of cufflinks that match your tie. Try on the vest or tank top and see if you feel comfortable wearing one. Both of these clothes can be quite flattering and will go perfectly with your tie and suit.

Although the recent trend of people opting not to wear a tie it is important not to forget how good you look when you are wearing one. Corporate dress codes have been established for good reason as smartly dressed workers apparently gives the impression of success and intelligence. Do not forget the many women like it when their man dressed in a smart suit and tie, so do not underestimate the value of wearing one!
